Visitors

We know that it can sometimes be daunting entering a church for the first time as a visitor or new attendee. This page will give you some information about what to expect.

On arrival you find a couple of people at the door to welcome you and who will give you a couple of things. First they will hand you a copy of the bible we use (NIV translation) and a copy of the songs we sing (called Sing Psalms). Then you should be given an information sheet with details of page numbers for any readings or singings during the service.

After recieving these items you will be directed into the church where you are free to take a seat wherever you wish. Our services last for one hour and include singing (we stand to sing), prayer (we remain seated for prayer) and a sermon. There is a short children’s talk included in the service. We have an organised crèche facility available during the morning service and the crèche room is available for parents to supervise their children in the evening.

Toilets are located through the main hall, past the crèche room and beside the kitchen. Finding the toilets is easier that it sounds!

For any who require large print bibles or psalmodies we have some copies at the front door. There is a loop system in place in the building and to make use of this facility switch to ‘T’ on an hearing aid.

Finally you will not be asked to pay money, speak, kneel, shout or anything like that during our service (or after!). Feel free to join in with our singing. Other than that our focus is very much on preparing to hear what the bible has to say to us, and listening to it.
